menstrual cup and cloth bag 568 views

Will I be able to? ?

Ok……here is my story…
Joined some group on fb..where I saw ladies discussing sanitary protections…and read about menstrual cup…never ever before heard about it..googles it…was afraid to see such a bell shaped object and thought of inserting it inside scared me…. anyway forgot about it…and then came up another discussion on same group.. ladies were strongly recommending it…almost 60% ladies on the group were using it…and got to know about SMI…
Joined the group…read so many stories happy, horror and made up my mind to buy a cup…received it..although I had no signs of periods..13 months postpartum…and finally there it was…got my periods…with lots of courage…too many questions running in my mind…what if cup gets lost inside..what if I’ll not be able to take out my cup..I gave it try…failed miserably… tried almost 10 times..but cup was not ready to open…dropped the idea..switched back to pads…next day again got hold of all the determination…and there it was, tightly held inside 5 hours didn’t check…no leakage…but there was this stem which was slightly outside and bothering me……but I was still happy…
Next day again I used it..same feeling stem botheration…

Next cycle same
……
Then came this third cycle…immediately 10 days later irregular periods u see and I read of inverting the cup Priyanka nagpal jain had suggested somewhere about it.earlier i was like inerting te cup wht could be this … saw a online video for same.. and learnt about it.. and thought would give it try.. I was afraid as I thought I wuld not be able to pull it off..but no I was wrong…  and god.. it was such an awesome experience no pains no cramps. Was easiluy able to pull it.. my cle lasted for 6 day i uswd cup till my last day..never gonna go back to pads never…and yes my next step cloth pads… was to conduct a seminar for my buildng ladies on cups and menstrual cup so priyanks hd sent me some sample pieces i am so thankful to her and they feel.so soft and skin friendly completely suitable..on low flow day…they are ideal..seminar was a success..even if one out if 10 ladies convert, how big difference  it will make to make this earth a better place. I still regrett te fact that I got to know about such a wonderful thing after so mamy years of using those pathetic pads.. so.mucb of money wasted. . So much of plastic waste I contributed to.. I really feel sad… but anyway better late than never I want every menstruating lady to convert to cups and cloth pads…

Do share your story…
